Uvala Pržina

Uvala Pržina is a beautiful bay on the south-eastern side of the island of Korčula. The bay is reasonably well-protected from the north, west and east, but since it is completely open to the south it is hardly suitable as an anchoring ground for longer stays. The bay goes quite deep into the island, and the bottom slopes slowly. Thus, you have to drop your anchor quite far away from the beach to have a safe depth.

We dropped anchor in 6 meters of water at the eastern side of the bay. The bottom here is rocky. The western side has a sandy bottom. Uvala Pržina has a sandy beach, and is therefore quite popular with locals and tourists. There are no further facilities here.
